JAZZ AT 6 East STATE
Every month from September through May, Jazz at 6 East State presents the best of local musicians and guests from around the country. We also occasionally celebrate Jazz Vespers. Jazz Vespers is a worship service originating in New York City, designed with a more casual approach. All are welcome to these events that are presented free to the public, except for the special benefit on September 4. Contributions are always accepted for Hot Meals for the Hungry.

$10 entree with proceeds benefiting Grace Hot Meals, a ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Ascension, which provides meals for downtown Savannah's houseless and food-insecure community.
Coastal Odyssey Jazz is a eight piece jazz combo. The group covers a variety of jazz styles from swing to smooth jazz. Members are from all around the US and Canada but now all reside in the Savannah area. The group describes their concerts this way: “We like to have fun and hope you do to – and – if you are not careful you might just learn something.”
